KUBRA is in growth mode and currently seeking a Platform Product Manager to join our Engineering team!


The Platform Product Manager is responsible for working with KUBRA executives, engineering teams, and other product managers to oversee aspects of KUBRA’s microservices-based multi-tenant SaaS platform. This oversight includes using industry expertise to create plans for future development, coordinate ongoing development activities, support delivery team resources working to implement the product, work with executive management and other product managers to help realize the overall company vision. 


KUBRA's hiring efforts will continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Any face-to-face stages of our interview process will be virtual via video conference

What you get to do every day

  • Contribute to and help realize KUBRA’s vision for the platform to support rapid product innovation by robustly solving common problems at the platform level. This may include Authentication & Authorization, template management, consolidated message history and delivery, etc.
  • Own the roadmap and release planning for a portfolio of internal products/services
  • Works with non-platform product managers and engineering teams to identify common problems, develop solutions, and facilitate & advocate their adoption.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in product management from initial feature planning through to development and release
  • Oversee backlog management and prioritization
  • Collaborate with tech writing, product delivery, sales, marketing, executives, and product management teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and an ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in all client communications
  • Ability to influence others, build relationships, manage conflicts, and handle negotiations
  • Business management skills – understanding of strategy, business functions, metrics, decision-making, and workflow
  • Project management skills – ability to plan and manage successful projects, including managing risks, costs, time, and team
  • Excellent organization, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and focus on results
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle

What skills do you need?

  • 3+ years of product or product management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
  • 3+ year experience designing, building, or operating modern enterprise-grade cloud based  Software as a Service (SaaS) products is an assest
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree, technical degree, and/or certifications are preferred
  • Certification in payment industry standards (PCI, NACHA) is an asset
  • Experience using Aha and Jira is an asset
